The 76-page book, Women Achieving Dreams: Stories of Courage and Faith from Extraordinary Women, inspires and motivates women to take chances in order to achieve their dreams – no matter how big or small.
“I came up with the idea for this book after achieving a
dream that had sat on the back burner for decades, mostly because of my own fears,
which were disguised as excuses,” says Huff, who compiled the stories. “I
realized that if I resisted achieving something that was, in hindsight,
relatively easy, then think about what other women who have even bigger dreams
must encounter.”
The biggest lesson Huff learned from the women she interviewed was that anyone can change I can’t to I can. Says Huff, “As many of the women in the book will attest, you define who you are and what you want. It’s really that simple, and these stories are a testament to this truth.”
